Rigid ducts & accessories
Our rigid ducts are designed for ventilation systems that require a higher level of durability and watertightness. These ducts are made from resistant materials such as galvanised steel, and are intended to ensure that air is uniformly distributed while reducing drops in pressure.
We offer a wide range of round ducts and all kinds of duct accessories such as elbow bends, connectors or spigots.
Good to know: All our accessories are sold with seals, to ensure a greater level of watertightness. Watertightness ensures effective ventilation operations and energy efficiency.
Semi-rigid ducts
Our CAIROX semi-rigid ducts are the perfect solution for confined spaces and systems that require moderate flexibility with no impact on performance levels.
Our range is highly diversified: Our semi-rigid ducts are available in galvanised steel or M0 aluminium
Perfect for controlled mechanical ventilation systems in multi-dwelling units, in order to connect outlets to the main network, and for forced air heating systems. These ducts offer high mechanical resistance and quick installation.
Semi-rigid PE (polyethylene)ducts are used mainly in residential ventilation. They can be connected to the air distribution boxes of double flow ventilation systems.
Flexible ducts
Our flexible ducts provide the perfect solution for systems that require curves or frequent modification. They are particularly light, flexible and easy to handle.
We provide flexible uninsulated M0 aluminium ducts, acoustic and thermal insulated M0-M1 flexible ducts (perfect for double flow ventilation systems) or uninsulated or acoustic and thermal insulated flexible PVC ducts.
Our highly flexible ducts are suited to complex pathways and are easy to install, even in confined spaces. Our insulated flexible ducts ensure high-performance thermal insulation. They effectively prevent heat loss and condensation
Silencer
CAIROX silencers are specifically designed to reduce noise in ventilation and air conditioning systems. They provide a comfortable indoor environment, with no negative impact on the air distribution system’s performance.
We provide high-performance rectangular and round acoustic enclosures and baffles. Our silencers are mainly intended for the tertiary and multi-dwelling unit market.
Our range of products meets all the needs of the tertiary sector (kitchens, smoke vents, industry, etc.) thanks in part to our silencers with glass mat, glass fabric or expanded metal.

There are many criteria to consider when choosing ventilation ducts:
1. Air flow rate and velocity: Ensure the right air flow rate without excessive velocity, to avoid noise and pressure drops.
2. Head losses: Minimise bends and cross-sectional reductions to optimise energy efficiency.
3. Airtightness: Choose ducts that comply with airtightness standards to limit leaks and losses.
4. Thermal and acoustic insulation: Provide sufficient insulation to limit heat loss and reduce noise pollution.
5. Materials: Opt for materials that are durable, corrosion-resistant and compatible with fire standards.
6. Dimensions and overall dimensions: Adapt dimensions to space constraints, with modularity if necessary.
7. Installation and maintenance: Design a network that is easily accessible for cleaning and repairs.
8. Energy efficiency: Minimise energy losses and ensure compatibility with heat recovery systems.
9. Standards and regulations: Check compliance with local safety and air quality standards.
10. Environmental impact: Choose materials that have a low environmental impact and can be recycled.
Cairox ventilation ducts reduce pressure losses in HVAC systems thanks to their smooth internal design and optimised connections, limiting turbulence and friction. Manufactured from high-quality materials, they are corrosion-resistant and retain their efficiency over time. Cairox also offers made-to-measure solutions to adapt the layout of the ducts, ensuring smooth air circulation and greater energy efficiency.
Here are our recommendations:
1. Use quality ducts that comply with sealing standards.
2. Install rubber or silicone gaskets at connections.
3. Apply sealant or sealing tape to connections.
4. Secure ducts to prevent distortion.
5. Carry out pressure tests to detect and correct leaks.
It’s a good thing we offer a wide range of HVAC insulation products to ensure that your networks are watertight in the long term!
Cairox silencers reduce noise in commercial environments thanks to high-density sound-absorbing materials and a design that limits turbulence and vibrations. Their range, including models adapted to different duct layouts, guarantees optimum noise reduction in office and commercial spaces.
– Inspect silencers regularly for any accumulation of dust, dirt or debris that could impair their acoustic efficiency.
– Clean absorbent materials carefully, using appropriate techniques to avoid damaging internal components.
– Check muffler fixings and positioning to prevent loosening or vibration, which can generate additional noise.
– Assess the condition of seals around silencers and ducts to ensure performance and prevent air leakage.
We recommend that you carry out a general inspection of the silencers and a light cleaning every 6 months. For in-depth maintenance, cleaning of absorbent materials and inspection of seals, the best frequency is once a year.
